The story of Wild & Petsch is closely intertwined with the lives of Karl-Egon Wild and Eckehard Julius Petsch. As founders of their respective companies in Idar-Oberstein and fathers of our current Managing Directors, they laid the foundation for the values, expertise and passion that continue to shape our company today.

In these conversations, they reflect on their journeys around the world, their encounters with miners and gemstone traders, the origins of what we now call our Grandfather's Stock, and a time when the gemstone trade was built above all on trust, personal relationships and a handshake.
